Dassault’s line of Simulia products simulate realistic applications of the world. Interestingly, they have been developing 3D software of the human body to aid doctor’s in solving difficult patient problems (Dassault Systemes, 2019). With the growing need of healthcare innovations, creating 3D products can put Dassault ahead of competitors in the industry. It is challenging to estimate the costs of developing healthcare products, but I assume it will cost approximately $25 million a year.
Data Analytics
Analyzing data is becoming increasingly popular. By analyzing consumer trends Dassault will be able to better invest their time and resources into more profitable ventures. Implementing data software can be costly, so Dassault should set aside several million dollars for this investment. In addition, hiring a team of data analysts with experience will be beneficial.
Informative Videos
On YouTube, Dassault has created informative videos showing the development and use of their products in application. Dassault should continue to create these videos which will allow the general public to see the benefits of 3D software. Creating informative videos can range in costs depending on the resources put forth. I recommend allocating $400,000 per year for staffing and other video software needs. Interestingly, if the videos become popular it can generate a small revenue stream for Dassault as well.
